Cancellations:
We cannot survive without these and we really dislike creating them so please do understand!!
1. During non-holidays or non-special events reservations must be cancelled 7 days prior to the arrival date unless guest was provided with our longterm stay deep discount rates which are between $49 and $69 per nite.
2. During holidays such as July 4th, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Halloween, Labor Day, and all other major holidays reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to the reservation arrival date as no refunds can be granted and guest will lose the entire booked reservation amount.
3. Reservations cannot be shortened within 30 days prior to the arrival date for guests provided our special discounted rates unless they purchase our trip insurance(see below).
4. Reservations for Mardis Gras, Jazzfest, Frenchquarter Fest, Halloween, VoodoFest and all other MAJOR EVENTS must be cancelled 60 days prior to the arrival reservation date. There are no refunds for these dates once they are booked, BUT in the event a guest cancels within the 60 day period prior to the reservation date the guest can use the full payment for future stays that are not Mardis Gras, Jazzfest, or any other Major events!!!! Guests can use the payment during our holidays and during all other low season stays!!! So, guests do not lose their money!
5. If a guest thinks they may not be able to honor their reservation but want to book anyway they may purchase trip insurance at $20 a day for each day of their stay and the guest can cancel 7 days prior to arrival excluding Mardis Gras, Jazzfest, French Quarter Fest and all other Major events! Guests can cancel during holidays and normal season. The guest will receive a full refund of their payment, but will not get a refund of the trip insurance. House Happiness!!!
6. In the event a guest cancels outside of the policy, the guest can get a full refund if the room is booked by another guest and matches the cancelled reservation dollar total. Guest must call to inquire about refund within 7 days of their reservation end date to get a full refund.
7. Guests who book more than 60 days prior to an event and call to cancel the reservation with less than 14 days notice will not be refunded any monies and there is no exception to this rule!
Our Guests are very important to us and we will make every effort to return your payment but the above is our gerneral policy. We could not provide you with such a great value without it! We provide HIGHLY dicounted room rates and we can continue to provide them as long as guests work with us in cancelling their reservations in the event of a change of plans!!!
